Celia was the daughter of Fred and Mary Shoren Pellerin from Canada. She married Paul Kruger on 21 August 1912 in Bessemer, and they had Lloyd, Isabel, Erwin, Donald, Clarence, Russell, Raymond, Gerald, and Alvin. Celia died from shock and internal injuries when struck by a truck at the age of 48 years 7 months and 16 days.
