Sarah was the daughter of Thomas R and Minerva E Wilder.

Link to father provided by Donna McGonigal,

She married first James Edward Newbern 20 Oct 1887 in Chowan County NC. They had four children, Ellington, Sumler, Martha Grace and Sarah Neitor.

The girl's names are Martha G and Sarah N in the 1910 census. Someone who knew the family said they were known as Grace and Nita so I am assuming they were called by their middle names.

She married second Solomon Bunting 18 Nov 1900 in Edenton, NC. Both were widowed. They had four known children, William A., Mary L., Rachel and Thomas R. according to 1910 census. The four Newbern children are listed as Solomon's stepchildren in this census.

She married third Columbus Journee 31 August 1918 in Portsmouth, Va. Both were widowed

She married fourth to John Chester Dough 15 October 1925 in Portsmouth, Va. Both were widowed
