Joan Joyce Knoll, 85, passed from this life on April 15, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Joan was born on April 13, 1929 in Dante, South Dakota to Vert and Reka Burma. She was a retired teacher. She is survived by her sons, Butch Knoll and wife, Carolyn and Tom Knoll; daughter, Karen Caraway and husband. Kent; 5 grandchildren, Monica, Natalie, Heidi, Andy, Shane, and Travis; 5 great grandchildren, Zaden, Adelyn, Stella, Milo, and Liam; 2 brothers, Earl and George Burma; 1 sister, Eunice Hathaway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herlan Knoll; parents; and brother, Leo Burma. A Private Graveside will be held at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service will be scheduled in May. Please check back for further details. Donations may be made in her honor to the Employee Appreciation Fund at Oklahoma Methodist Manor.
