Roanoke - Therman Rodgers, 63, Rt. 2, Roanoke, died at 12:30 pm. Saturday at his home.

He was born in Daisy, Ark., and had been a resident of Huntington County since 1950. He owned and operated Radio City-76 station and a grocery near Roanoke. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Huntington, and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Stella; three sons, Tommy Rodgers and Bobby Wayne Rodgers, both of Roanoke, and Donnie Rodgers, Lowell; a brother, L.D. Rodgers, Huntington; a sister, Mrs. Tribble (Lorene) Whisenhunt, New Hope, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon in the Deal and Robbins Funeral Home, E. Washington St., Huntington, with the Rev. Charles Simons officiating. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
