Ludwigsdorf is within the Ihlow Lutheran Parish of Kreis Aurich. Ihlowerfehn, a part of Ihlow has a Methodist parish for which no Ortsippenbuch has been published. Also, Ihlowerfen Lutheran records for the time-period including 1871 might be found in the Bangstede Lutheran parish Ortssippenbuch. I presently have no access to the Bangstede Ortssippenbuch. - D. A. Navorska - ii Nov MMXX - in proximo Grove, OK.

If the sources above are correct & the dates of marriage & the dates of death of the wives make the hypothesis I am presenting possible, then Hermann Heinrich Holzenkämpfen had 3 wives:

1) Hermanna Engelina Meyerhoff
2) Katharine Gerhardine Buschmann
3) Margaretha Wolbrechta Ockenga

My family includes wife # 3, Margaretha Wolbrechta Ockenga. - D. A. Navorska - ii Nov MMXX - in proximo Grove, OK
