Louie T. Meints, 79, Tuesday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Freese, three and a half miles southwest of Wellsburg; suffered stroke week ago Sunday; born May 1, 1870; leaves four sons, Charles, George, Willie and Louie, Jr., all of Steamboat Rock; three daughters, Mrs. Marvin Jeske, Eldora; Mrs. Peter B. Eckhoff, Wellsburg, and Mrs. Freese; one brother, Menne, Ackley; wife died 20 years ago; funeral 1 p.m. Friday at the Freese home, later at the First Christian Reformed church here; burial in the church cemetery.
