America in 1852. She was Juliane Louisa Ravenstein. They mar. the summer of 1857 probably German Valley, Ill. She wa born: Dec. 21,1835 in Campen, Ger. The dau. of Henry A. Ravenstein. He had 6 dau. Abtane, Mrs. Cordes, Mrs. Schaffer, Mrs. Ralph Aling and Mrs. Havenga. When Hermans wife Juliane died May 31, 1863 after the birth of their baby and John had died April 18, 1864. Hermand and John's second wife Regina Wilhelmina mar. Aug. 2, 1864. They had 5 children but only Ludwig Herman Louis Heetland lived. They now had 6 children to care for. Regina died: April 19, 1893 in Ackley, IA. Bur: in Grundy Co. Cem. Herman mar. Hiske (Lindeman) in 1883. Hiske had eight ch: of her own and grown by then. She was born: Aug. 1839 in Ger. and died: Aug. 1,1922 in Hardin Co. IA. Bur: with first husband in Ackley, IA.
