Text of his obituary:

"Pvt. Arthur (Chum) Hall, 25, who has been missing in action in Belgium since December 21, 1944, was killed on that date, his wife, Mrs. Ardis Hall, has been advised by the war department.

Overseas since last October, Private Hall has been serving with the "Golden Lion" infantry division. He enlisted March 9, 1944, and received his training at Camp Blanding, Fla.

Besides the widow, he is survived by five children, Arthur, 7, Nancy, 6, Sandra, 4, Billy Lou, 3, and Judy Ann, 1; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Willcutt, 517 South Clemens avenue; a brother, Clarence. Jr., and two sisters, Mrs. Leslie Wilbert and Mrs. Eugene Roblee. Hiw own father, Arthur Whittaker, lives in Sturgis.
