"Helmholdt, Dorothy A. Cutlerville Dorothy Ann Helmholdt, age 84, was greeted by her heavenly father on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Dorothy retired from Keebler after 20 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be deeply missed by her children and grandchildren, Robert and Linda Helmholdt (Bradley and Nikki, Nicole, and Brent), Lou Ann and Pastor Charlie Post (Kelli and Mike, Mike and Laurie, Josh and Lauren), Karla and George Guichelaar (Richard and Amber, Philip, and Katelyn), Rod and Irene Helmholdt (Christine, Michelle, Brenda and Matt, and Jeffrey); great grandchildren, Beckett, Mikee, Emme, Jolee, Leah, Annaliese, Kailyn, Maeli, Axel, Rae, Tucker, Christian, and a baby girl on the way; sister and brother, Arlene Wustman, Larry and Phyl Tuinstra; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Jenny Helmholdt, Carol Helmholdt, Harv and Helen Helmholdt; many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Florence Tuinstra; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ted Wustman, Silvia and Tony Leep, Jerry and Eleanor Helmholdt, Ken Helmholdt, and Marv Helmholdt. The service will be held 1 pm Friday, May 11, at Heritage Christian Reformed Church, 3089 84th St. SW, with Rev. Dale Cooper officiating. Interment in Winchester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the South Christian High School Music/Drama Programs. The family will greet visitors on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, and Friday from 12 - 12:45 pm prior to the service at the church.
