Postma, Janet Jan passed away peacefully on June 28, 2016.

She was born in Plainwell, MI the daughter of the late Anthony and Sylvia (Helmholdt) Leep.

Jan will be remembered for her independent spirit, quick-witted sense of humor, and her ability to accept people for who they were. She was a nurturer by nature and profession who was able to empathize and communicate with hurting people regardless of culture or language. Jan will be missed by those who loved her.

She is survived by her husband, David; her daughter, Darlene Postma of Grand Rapids; her brothers, Wes (Darlene) Leep and Phil (Pat) Leep both of East Martin; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, at 11 AM at West Leonard Christian Reformed Church, 1053 Leonard Street NW. Friends may visit with the family at the church beginning at 10 AM. Private family burial will take place in East Martin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mission Emphasis at the church.
