"Stubbe, Herman, Sr. - Margaret Woelber

Herman H. was the son of Henry and Annie Modder Stubbe and his parents were early settlers in the George area. Herman served in World War I. He married Margaret, daughter of William and Gesene Kruse Woelber. The couple were long time farmers in Wheeler Township and active members of the Hope Reformed Church. In retirement they moved to George.
