OBITUARY: "Anna Marie McQuillin, daughter of Ira and Sarah McQuillin, was born Jan. 28, 1868 near Hastings, Mich., and answered the call of her Heavenly Father to her reward in Heaven April 10, 1938; aged 70 years, two months, and 13 days. On Feb. 23 1887 she was united in marriage to James McQuilllin of Delta. To this union six children were born to brighten their home: Mable Dinius and Reah Schmitz of Delta; Ethel Keller of Cleveland; Kirk Lester of Bellflower Calif; Wallace and Oneita Robinson of Toledo. She spent her girlhood at Waterville, O., where she received her education in music and was graduated from high school. She gave her heart and life to Jesus Christ soon after establishing a home. She, with her husband, first united with Poppel Grove U.B. church, later transferring their membership to the First U.B. church of Delta where she remained a faithful member all her active life. She loved her church and was always ready to fill the places of responsibility. She filled efficiently the presidency of the Ladies' Aid society, and the superintendency of the Sunday school. The spirit of helpfulness predominated throughout her entire life. She was a loving mother and her unselfish devotion to her family and home will ever dwell in the hearts of her children. Those left to mourn her passing are a loving mother, Mrs. Sarah Hooker of Toledo; six children; a step-sister, Mrs. Hattie Edgar of Los Angleles, Cal.; 27 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; an uncle, Ezra McQuillin, and many other relatives and friends. She goes to be with her husband who preceded her Jan 2?, 1930, her father, sister and brother who have gone to their reward also."
