It is my hypothesis Jan & Wemke were NOT married under the auspice of the Pogum church. If they had been married by the Pogum church, Herr Sternsdorff would have so indicated in his OFB Pogum. Instead, Herr Sternsdorff presents the 3rd reading of the Banns at Pogum. The 3rd reading is 29 Sept. 1872. It is possible the 3rd reading might be the same day as the wedding; however, that would defeat the purpose of the reading of the Banns. I suspect the 3rd reading of the Banns was the Sunday before the ceremony, at both Pogum & at the church under which the ceremony was performed. - D. A.
