Funeral services for Everet Wessels, 97, of Blue Earth, Minnesota were held Monday morning, April 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Home. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery, Buffalo Center with Foresman-Patton Funeral Home incharge of arrangements.

Mr. Wessels passed away Wednesday evening, April 19 at United Hospital, Blue Earth.

He was born January 9, 1887 in Holland. He came to the United States at a young age. He married Bena Burma in 1913. She died in 1919. In 1920 he married Anna Sunken. She died in 1960.

Survivors include sons, John of Bricelyn, Minnesota; Sute of Blue Earth, Minnesota; daughters, Mrsv Heiko (Grace) Meyering of Buffalo Center, Pearl Wessels of Mason City, Lena Wessels of Kissimmee, Florida; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren and a brother, Carl of Blue Earth."

"Mrs. Avert Wessels.

Mrs. Evert Wessels was born Nov. 18, 1891, at Figgelworf, Eastfriesland, Germany, and died at her home south of Buffalo Center March 7, 1919, at the age of 27 years, 3 months and 19 days, after a short illness brought on by an attack ofinfluenza. She came to this country in childhood and has resided in this vicinity the past fourteen years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Burma, her father having passed away a short time ago. She was married to Avert Wessels in 1913.

She was the mother of three children and these with the husband, mother, one brother, Jasper Burma, and one sister, Mrs. Peter DeGroat, survive to mourn her loss. She was a good wife, a faithful mother and has gone out to meet therewards for those who have done their part as beat they could while in this life. She was a member of the German Reformed church and was a true member and filled with the faith of a devoted Christian. The funeral was held at the home Monday morning, Rev. J. H. Schoon presiding, and interment was in Graceland cemetery."
