Mrs. Dale C. Thomas, 81, Fresno, died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Coshocton County Memorial hospital following one dayÙus illness.

She was born Feb. 25, 1878, at Fresno, a daughter of Thomas and Margaret Jane Boyd Hamilton. On Sept. 8, 1896, she was married to John E. Thomas, who died March 29, 1954.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Wentz, Fresno Route 1 and Mrs. Harry Geese, Fresno; two sons, Waldo and Dent Thomas, both of Fresno Route 1; one brother, Robert Hamilton, Zanesville; six grandchildren and fourgreat-grandchildren. One son, one brother and three sisters are deceased.

She was a member of the Fresno Methodist church and a charter member of the WSCS of the church.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the home of the son, Waldo Thomas, with Rev. Donald Sprague of Fresno officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery, Fresno.

Friends may call at the Bonnell funeral home, West Lafayette, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and at the Waldo Thomas residence from noon Thursday until time of services. 1
