Funeral services for Ella Weaver, 82, formerly of Lakota, who resided at the Timely Mission Nursing Home at the time of her death, were held Wednesday morning, July 4 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ledyard withFather Hussmann officiating. Mrs. Ella Weaver had passed away July 1, 1979 at the age of 82 years, 6 months, and 1 day. Garry Funeral Service was in charge and interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ledyard. ... Ella Veronica Weaver daughter of August and Rose Klepke Manthie, was born near Ledyard, Iowa on December 30, 1896. She married Albert E. Weaver on December 27, 1919 at Ledyard. They made their home in the Lakota area. To the union wasborn four sons: Harold , Lawrence, Ervin and Francis.

Albert passed away in 1963 on their farm at the west edge of Lakota. Ella remained there until 1975 when she moved to the Bison Apartments at Buffalo Center. She lived there until March 1976 when she entered the Heritage Home atBancroft. She transfered to the Timely Mission Home in July of 1977 where she made her home until her death. ..." <>

Ella Veronica Weaver daughter of August and Rose Klepke Manthie, was born near Ledyard, Iowa on December 30, 1896. She married Albert E. Weaver on December 27, 1919 at Ledyard. They made their home in the Lakota area. To the union wasborn four sons: Harold , Lawrence, Ervin and Francis.

Albert passed away in 1963 on their farm at the west edge of Lakota. Ella remained there until 1975 when she moved to the Bison Apartments at Buffalo Center. She lived there until March 1976 when she entered the Heritage Home atBancroft. She transfered to the Timely Mission Home in July of 1977 where she made her home until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, her husband and son Lawrence. She is survived by her sons: Harold of Mesa, Arizona, Ervin of Wausau, Wisconsin, Francis of Mankato, Minnesota, step-daughter, Mrs. Burl(Agnes) Selby of Sewal, Iowa, 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sisters Mrs. Mary Hammer and Mrs. Agnes Thilges"
