Claus C. Buseman was born March 18, 1885 to Mr. and Mrs. Klaas Buseman at Canlstota, South Dakota, and departed this life on January 11, 1972 at the age of 86 years, 9 months, and 24 days.

On March 11, 1908, he was married to Anna Adams at Buffalo Center, Iowa. They made their home on a farm near Canistota for 34 years. In 1942 they moved to a small farm near Buffalo Center. They moved to their residence in Buffalo Centerin 1960.

Mr. Buseman made his confession of faith in Christ and was baptized in 1918, and joined the Spring Valley Baptist Church. In 1942 he transferred his membership to the First Baptist Church in Buffalo Center.

Survivors include his wife, Anna, a resident of the Timely Mission Nursing Home, two daughters, Mrs. Aeilt (Clara) Brass, and Mrs. George (Adeline) Steen, of Buffalo Center; one granddaughter, Mrs. Leo (Audrey) Kastenmeier, of Wells,Minnesota; one step-grandson, Gerald Steen, of Jesup, Iowa; one brother, George Buseman, of Canistota, South Dakota, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and four sisters."
