Mrs. Mary Margaret Lawrence Buker, 76, of Coshocton died in Coshocton Memorial Hospital at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday following a lingering illness.

Mrs. Buker was born May 20, 1884, in Guernsey County, a daughter of the late Robert and Martha Baird Johnson. She was first married to Alexander Lawrence on March 14, 1907. He died Oct. 27, 1927. She married Curtis Buker on Oct. 17, 1934,and he died Oct. 28, 1952.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Martha Geese of Cambridge Route 3, and Mrs. Ethel May Mathers of Cambridge Route 5; three sons, William Ralph, John Frank and Edgar Lawrence, all of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Spears ofCambridge Route 1; two brothers, G.R. Johnson of Alliance and Waldo Johnson of Cambridge Route 3; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; five stepchildren, Jesse and Raymond Buker of Frazeysburg, Wilmer Buker of Coshocton, Mrs.Lucille Simmons of Coshocton, and Roy Buker of New Concord.

Mrs. Buker was a member of the Calvary Methodist Church of Coshocton.

The body has been removed to the McCracken-Thorn Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Richard Forsythe of Coshocton officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call todayfrom 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
