DIVORCE IS ASKED

Gross neglect is claimed as the ground of a divorce action instituted in probate court today by Charles Walker, 324 North Ninth st., against Gertrude Walker, Orange st., thru his attorneys Binning & Carton.

Walker charges his spouse with failure to perform her household duties and to properly care for their child, and also avers that she refuses to live with him as his wife. Stating that Mrs. Walker is unable to care for their child, theplaintiff asks a decree and custody of the minor son, Charles Eugene, aged five.

OBIT: Tuesday, 12 May 1970 ÙX Coshocton Tribune, pg B1 Fred G. Durant, 67, of 221 N. George St., West Lafayette, died at 9:40 p.m. Monday at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient nine days. He had been employed as a machinist at the Coshocton Clow Corp. plant 25 years, retiring in October 1967. Mr. Durant was born Oct 27, 1902, a son of Jacob and Mary Huff Durant. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude to whom he was married Dec. 18, 1941; three brothers, Herman, of Wagram, O.; Walter, of Mansfield, and Robert, of Reynoldsburg; one sister, Mrs. Claude (Dorothy) Rondorff, Pataskala; and several niecesand nephews. Three brothers and two sisters are deceased. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Gibson Funeral Home with Dr. Benjamin R. Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Fresno Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until time for services Thursday.
