CHARLES WALKER DIES AS RESULT OF HEART ATTACK

Charles F. Walker, aged 60, senior partner in the tinning firm of Walker & Son, died at his home, 445 Sixteenth-st. from heart trouble and complications at five oÙuclock, Saturday morning.

Mr. Walker has been in ill health for the past five years, and had been confined to his home for the past three months, seriously ill.

He was born on October 20, 1865 in this city, where he spent the greater part of his life. He lived a few years in Indiana and in Cincinnati.

In early life he was employed as a hammersman in the old Hay axle works. Years later he became engaged in the tinning business which business he has followed for the past 20 years.

On December 24, 1887 he was united in marriage to Rose Hudson. To this union were born 12 children, eight of whom survive. They are: Fred, Raymond, William and Daniel Walker, Mrs. Raymond Houk, Mrs. Joseph Kuhn, Mrs. Edward Courtright andMiss Esther Walker, all of this city.

He belonged to the Baptist church and was a member of the Jr. O.U.A.M. lodge, of this city. Mr. Walker was a member of sterling qualities and possessed a wide circle of friends in this city and county who will deeply mourn his loss.

Besides the children, his widow and the following sisters survive; Mrs. Frank Foster, of West Lafayette Route 1, Mrs. Nettie Anderson and Mrs. Walter Sayles, both of Los Angeles, Calif., and Miss Ollie Walker of this city.
