Albert B. Lapp, 90, Wills Creek, a retired grocer and farmer, died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday at County Memorial hospital following a long illness.

He was born in Franklin township Dec. 15, 1869, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lapp. His wife, the former Bertha Fisher, died May 5, 1923.

Mr. Lapp at one time was part owner of the Vinsel & Lapp general store at Wills Creek. He sold his interest to Virgil Vinsel in 1928 and then purchased another store at Canal Lewisville. In 1937 he sold this store and retired.

He was a member of St. PaulÙus Lutheran church in Franklin township.

Surviving are one son, George, Route 1; a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Foster of the home; a half-brother, Samuel Lapp, Washington C.H.; eight grandchildren and a step-grandchild. A daughter, son and several sisters and brothers are deceased.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Dawson funeral home in charge of Rev. Oan Aughbaugh. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and until time of services Sunday.
