Lahm 73, president of E. V. Lahm, Inc. auto dealers in Sugarcreek for the past 37 years, died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at his home, 506 Spring St. Sugarcreek, apparently a victim of a heart attack. He was born Aug. 8. 1896 at Bar's Mill, a son of Adam and Barbara Frolich Lahm. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the United Church of Christ, Knights of Pythias and Sugarcreek Businessmen's Association. Surviving are his widow, the former Bernice Geese; a daughter, Mrs. Rodger (Marilyn) Cope of North Canto; a son, Richard, his associate in the auto business; five grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Frank Boyd of Canton; two brothers, O. L.Lahm of Sugarcreek Route I and Russell of Canton. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Lingler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Church of Christ with Rev. Arnold H. Klerber officiating. Burial will be East Lawn Cemetery.
