JOHNSTOWN - Robert C. Geese, 52, Johnstown, native of Newcomerstown, died at his home Saturday following a short illness.

He was born Sept. 23, 1919, a son of Clifford and Emma Mitchell Geese.

Mr. Geese had employed in Worthington by Worthington Foods Corp. He was in World War II, serving in the European theater. He belonged to the American Legion Post at Newcomerstown.

Surviving are his widow, the former Irene Wheeland; two sons, John of Sacramento, Calif., and Dean of Canton; two daughters, Mrs. Duane (Janet) Swick and Mrs. David (Emma) Peck, both of Johnstown, and a sister, Mabel Geese ofNewcomerstown.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Crouse Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery at West Lafayette, O. Change Date: 16 Oct 2013 ...
