OBIT: Thursday, 6 Oct 1949 - Coshocton Tribune, pg 5 DIES IN COLUMBUS Funeral services will be held at the Smith funeral home in Columbus a 2 p.m. tomorrow for Bart C. Geese, 85, native of Bakersville, who died unexpectedly at his home yesterday. He was born at Bakersville Sept. 29, 1864, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Norman Geese. He had resided in Columbus about 65 years and was a retired merchant. His wife, formerly Anna Leech of Bakersville, died several years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clark Wetherholt of the home; one brother Joseph of West Lafayette, and one granddaughter. The late Charles and Clifford Geese were brothers of the deceased.
