Mrs. Annie Riggle Geese, 83, Newcomerstown, died at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at Guernsey Memorial hospital, Cambridge, following a long illness. She had been a patient here for one week.

She was born Jan. 18, 1880, in Salem township, Tuscarawas county, to Charles and Nancy Barrick Riggle. Her husband, Charles O. Geese, died in 1936. Three brothers and six sisters are also deceased.

Funeral services at St. PaulÙus Lutheran church, Newcomerstown, of which she was a member, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in charge of Re. Donald L. Albert. Burial will follow in Bakersville cemetery.

Friends will be received at the Ourant funeral home in Newcomerstown Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Saturday one hour before services.
