Oldest Resident of Fresno Dies from Pneumonia

Mrs. Kathryn Ferrell, aged 91, the oldest resident of Fresno, died at her home yesterday afternoon from pneumonia.

Mrs. Ferrell was born in Fresno and spent her entire life there. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church in Fresno for the past several years.

Her maiden name was Caton. Her husband, Calvin Ferrell, died four years ago.

Two children, George Ferrell of near Fresno and Mrs. Charles Kutcher of the home, survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 oÙuclock at the late home by Rev. Firster and burial will be made in Fairview cemetery at Fresno.
