2nd inquiry w/addt'l info: my great grandfather, Johann Tholen 1869-1933, carpenter, son of Claas Alberts Tholen; he immigrated to the US with his brother Eibe in 1883 and married Anna Franzen in Illinois and her family Heinrich Harms Franzen were also from Riepe but had immigrated earlier. Do you have any information about either of them. I am told that the Lutheran Church in Riepe is the family home church of the Tholen family. I plan to visit Riepe sometime in thefuture and would love to connect with any family members or historians to learn more about my ancestors. Thank you."
