Medical Information: Carcinoma of sigmoid and rectum. Surgery performed October 22, 1943 - death November 13, 1943.

Note: MEDICAL_CANCER Carcinoma of sigmoid and rectum. Surgery was performed on October 22, 1943, and Martin died of a Myocardial degeneration on November 13, 1943. Dr. Lambertus Warmolts was the attending physician.

OBITUARY: PASSING SATURDAY EVENING OF LIFELONG OGLE RESIDENT The death of Martin Nordman, lifelong resident of Ogle Count, occurred Saturday evening at the Warmolts clinic where he had been under treatment the preceding few days. He was born January 17, 1888 in Pine Rock Township and his entirelife was spent in that locality, where he was successfully engaged in farming. Immediate surviving relatives are the widow, Maude; two sons, Harrison and Robert; his mother, Mrs. Albert Nordman of Rochelle, six brothers, Joseph of Oregon, Albert and Henry of Rockford, J.A. Nordman of Oak Park, Fred of Dekalb and Carl of Elgin; a sister, Mrs. Albert Freimuth of Rochelle. The funeral services were heldTuesday afternoon, in the Paynes Point Lutheran church, Rev. August F. Blobaum, officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
