"Floyd Schroedermeier Dies Friday At University Hospital

Funeral services for Floyd Schroedermeier, 59, were held Monday afternoon at 3 p. m. at Cleveland Chaper. Rev. Waldo Hahn officiated and burial was in Harlington cemetery.

Mr. Schroedermeier, son of Simon and Louise Miller Schroedermeier was born Nov. 11, 1895 in Bremer County. He died at University hospitals at Iowa City, July 8, where he had been a patient since July 2.

He was a resident in the Waverly community until April when he moved in a farm near Oelwein. Survived by his wife Anna, and the following children, Mrs. June McNeilis, Dunkerton; Ray, Greene; Mrs. Faye Tonn, Brandon; Dorothy and Jerry at home, twn [sic] brothers Ralph and Simon, one sister, Mrs. Toni Ganibaiani all of Waverly."
