•Note: PATENT DEED: David Williams "of Wayne Co., NY" - PURCHASED parcel from U.S. Government at Wapaukonetta Land Office: 7N8E--W 1/2 and NE 1/4 and N 1/2 SE 1/4 Sec 8 (560 acres). President signature date: 16 Oct 1835 [signed] by AndrewJackson (Cert. #2466).

WILL: "In the name of the benevolent father of all, I David WILLIAMS do make and publish this my last will and testament. Item 1st: I give and devise to my wife Harriet WILLIAMS after paying my first debts and costs of Administration ifany there be: all of my personal property rights of action both in law and equity, if any may exist, together with all and singular the household goods, furniture etc. that may be left at my death. Item 2nd: I give and devise to my saidwife Harriet the use occupation and benefit of all my real property during her natural life time, being the SW ¼ and the (sic) SW ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 8; also the NE ¼ of SE ¼ of Section 7 in Township 7N of Range 8E [in Swan CreekTwp.]. Item 3rd: At the death of my said wife I give and bequeath to my two sons Edward D. WILLIAMS and Roderick C. WILLIAMS in common the SW ¼ of Section 8 together with the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 7 aforesaid named, provided that ifeither of my said sons should die without issue then the surviving one is to inherit his portion of said land. Item 4th: It is my will that at the death of my said wife the 40 acres which contain the house and barn to wit. My Executors orAdministrators and the proceeds arising therefrom to be divided equally between my said sons and one daughter namely Nancy HOUT, Edward D. WILLIAMS and Roderick C. WILLIAMS. Item 5th: I give and devise to my daughter Harriet WAFFLE, myinterest in the House and lot at Wauseon after the death of my said wife, Harriet WILLIAMS who is to have the use of the same during her natural life time. Item 6th: I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife Harriet WILLIAMS and N. LEGGETTmy Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby authorizing and empowering him to Compromise adjust and settle any and all claims and matters of business which may be left unsettled at my death, he is also authorized to sell thereal Estate aforesaid, giving bonds for the faithful disbursement of the proceeds so aforestipulated. I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me mad. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 22nd day of March A.D.1859. [signed] David WILLIAMS. BOOK: "John Williams (deceased), one of the pioneer settlers of Fulton Co., was born July 20, 1814, and died at the homestead on 23 Jan 1890, aged 75 ½ years. When 20 years old he came with his parents to what is now Fulton Co. and spenthis early life in the avocations of a pioneer, for which he was well fitted, being strong and robust. The first farm that he opened was located 2 ½ miles NE of Delta, where he lived for many years. In 1849 he made the overland trip toCalifornia, and, after meeting with marked success in his search for gold, returned to Ohio and opened up another farm 3 miles east of Delta, where he spent the remainder of his life. John Williams was very prominent in the organizationof Fulton county and was a useful citizen throughout his long residence there. His life was spent in agricultural pursuits, in which he was unusually successful. He could truthfully boast of having cleared more land than any other man inthe county. On September 14, 1840, he was married to Miss Elizabeth A. Norton, daughter of Hiram and Sarah [Gamble] Norton, and their union was blessed with 10 children. They are: Emily, now Mr
