"Gramma D." age 75, passed away peacefully June 13, 2009 with her family at her side following a long, courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Phillip Bisch. The "rock and glue" of herfamily will be missed by her sons, Jeff Johnson (Martha) of Alpha, MN and Steve Johnson (Mary Sand) of Crystal; daughter, Julie J. Johnson of Bloomington; 7 grand- children; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Thorn (Leland) andMarion England (Bill); many nieces and nephews. Doris was born and raised in Worthington, MN, lived many years in NE Mpls and retired in Edina. She was a long time friend of Bill W. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the caringstaff of Fairview Southdale Hospice, especially Linda and Kolette. Gathering of family & friends 10:30 AM, Memorial service 11 AM, Thursday, June 18, 2009 at United Methodist Church of Peace, 6345 Xerxes Ave. So., Edina. Private intermentHillside Cemetery, Mpls.
