"Funeral Services Held Tuesday for Ewald F. Bruns

Funeral services for Ewald F. Bruns, 78, retired farmer of Tltonka, were held Tuesday, February 29, at 1:30 p.m. at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Titonka with the Rev. Herbert Hanson officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Born January 10, 1893 at Titonka, he was the son of Heito and Margarethe Bruns. He was married March 15, 1922 to Elizabeth Tjaden at Titonka.

Surviving are a son, Mervin Bruns, and a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Frances) Steinberg, both of Titonka; six grandchildren; two brothers, Fred and Heito Bruns, both of Titonka, and three sisters, Mrs. Stephen Tjaden, Mrs. Herman Franzen andMrs. John Schutter all of Titonka.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, a son, a brother and two sisters."
