Mr. Boots passed away Tuesday noon at the Reiners Convelescent home where he had been for some time suffering from alingering illness. He was born June 20, 1867, in Franklin county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Boots. His wife preceded him in death in 1945. He is survived by two sons, Elgin Boots [sic-Elvon] of Dumont and Sidney Boots, of Davenport; twodaughters, Mrs. Lyman Duncan and Mrs. Thomas Carpenter, both of Frederic, Wisconsin; fourteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; also three sisters, Mrs. Frank Tudeen, of Marion, Mrs. Flo Harlan, of Hampton, and Mrs. MaudeKephart, of Waterloo.'; Susie Martin-Rott to L.
