Note: Nick Drenth of Sheldon passed away on June 29, 1991 at the NW Iowa health Care Center in Sheldon. Nick was born June 14, 1901 in Boyden, IA the son of Klaas and Hanijete (Harms) Drenth. He married Grace Ackerman July 1, 1934 inPlankinton, SD.

After marriage the couple farmed in the Ellsworth and George area before moving to Sheldon in 1943. he was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon. Surviving are his wife; 4 sons, Roger and James of Sheldon; Vicror of Boyden and Clayton of Spencer; 1 daughter Mrs Ardith (Richard) Evenson of Archer, IA; 3 sisters Mrs Coba Schildhouer, Dell Rapids, SD; Mrs. Jennie Kammalde and Mrs maryVanMeeteren, Sheldon; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Services were held July 2, at the St. Paul Lutheran Chruch in Sheldon with the Rev. Steve Ellerbusch officiating. Burial was in the Sheridan Township Cemetery at Boyden with Andringa-Bolin Funeral Home of Sheldon in charge ofarrangements.
