Notice that the OSB Riepe 855 family chronological order of siblings places Johann Heinrich born in 1868 before Seven Theessen born in 1871. The obituary for Antje, however, places the order of Joe after Saver. Even with that caviat, it is my hypothesis Joe Haase identified in the Antje obituary is the same as the Johann Heinrich Hase identified in the OSB Riepe 855 family. Also, the year of birth for both Johann and Joe is 1868. With a brother named John, it would be understandable that Johann would Anglicize his name to Joe to avoid confusion with his younger brother, John. - D.A.
