GESKE FOLKEN WESTENDORF (nee Poppen) was born in Riepe, Ostfriesland, Germany, August 94, 1883, and died April 1, 1908, at the age of seventy five years, seven mouths and seven clays. She was married in 1855 to H. B. Westendorf. To this union six children were born. One died in infancy and five are living— two sons and three daughters. They came to this country from Germany twenty-two years ago and moved from Aokley to Buffalo Center last fall. The funeral was held at the German Reformed church Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. L. Watermuelder. Burial was in Graceland cemetery. The grief stricken family have the sincere sympathy of all.
