NEWTON FALLS - Frieda A. Whittecar, 86, entered into eternal rest Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at Hospice House in Poland.

On Nov. 16, 1924, in Wauseon, Lloyd and Ruth Willey Buehrer were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Frieda. She lived in Newton Falls since 1985, formerly of the Akron and Toledo areas.

Frieda married Noah C. Whittecar on Dec. 12, 1943. They were married 60 wonderful years until his passing on Dec. 22, 2003. Frieda took great pride in being a housewife.

Frieda was a member of Frieda was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, East Ohio Lapidary Club and sold Stanley Home products. She was interested in rock jewelry, enjoyed going rock hunting, sewing and crocheting.

Loving memories of Frieda will be carried on by three daughters, Nancy Hoover, Tina Whiteman, with whom she lived, and Pamela Largent; a son, David Whittecar; three sisters, Gladys Bruner of Fla., Marilyn Eby and Jane Smith; two brothers, Cecil Buehrer and Donald Buehrer; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Frieda was preceded in death by her husband, Noah; and three sisters, Louise Fisher, Shirley Rockford and Elsie Taylor.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4 p.m., with the Rev. John Eastman officiating. Cremation will follow.

Arrangements have been entrusted to James Funeral Home, 8 E. Broad St., Newton Falls, OH 44444."
