Britt: Services and last rites for Willie E. Meyer, widely known Britt resident and retired farmer, were held Monday afternoon in the First Lutheran Church. ... On January 2, 1918 he was united in marriage to Maude Hennings, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Hennings, at Algona. The couple established their home on a farm near Titonka. The home was blessed with two sons and four daughters,August, Caroline, Frank, Ella Mae, Marie and Katherine. They also farmed near Wesley and Bancroft for many years until retirement.
