Box 436, Claypool, AZ 85532: Joseph Fox was apprenticed at the age of eight on Dec. 13, 1853 to Daniel Jarrett byhis mother Ann Fox. The 1860 Census for Delaware County lists Joseph as being in the household of Daniel Jarrett, his age is 14, and his birthplace is given as Indiana (sic). 2. Also from Dorothy Morris, Joseph is listed as a chartermember of the Knights of Pytheas in 1873. 3. Joseph Fox served in the Civil War in Company B, 147th Indiana Infantry. The tombstone fo Joseph Fox says he served in Co C of the 118th Infantry.
