He was owner of G&G Pest Control for past 24 years still working at time of death. He was Sergeant in theU.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict receiving 2 Bronze Stars. He was a member of Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zionsville, Indiana, American Legion Post #79 in Zionsville, J.C.I. Senator in Michigan. He was born September15, 1931 in Clio, Michigan to Ralph A. and Edna Hewitt Gasche (both deceased). He was a 1949 graduate of Clio High School. He attended Tri State University in Angola, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Advent Evangelical LutheranChurch, 11260 N. Michigan Rd., Zionsville, IN 46077. Memorial service Wednesday, November 14, 2001 at 6:30PM at Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pastor John Fiene to officiate. You may call to the church after service. Burial in FortCuster National Cemetery, Augusta, MI on Friday, November 16, 2001 at 2PM. Surviving are: his wife, Karen J. Martinson Gasche; sons, Eric Gasche of Zionsville, IN, Mitchell Gasche (Kim) of Ann Arbor, Mark Gasche (Leanne) of Adrian, MI;daughters, Marsha Gilbert of Ann Arbor, Darci Norton (Scott) Petosky, MI; sisters, Marion Franzen of Ohio, Carolyn Gasche of Flint, Janette Reddington of Arizona; several aunts and uncles; 11 grandchildren. Arrangements by Flanner &Buchanan Zionsville Mortuary, 317-873-3366.
