"... Frances' parents were Albert Parritt (James, John, John Parritt, John Parruck) and Nancy Burr White (Jedediah, Ebenezer, Joseph, Nicholas).

The Parruck/Parritt's were in Stratfield, Fairfield, CT. James, a Quaker, relocated to NW Connecticut -- Norfolk, Litchfield, CT. That is also where Frances was born. She was the eldest of five children. The youngest, William W. is my Gt. Grandfather.

The White's were from Norton, Bristol, MA. Frances' maternal grandfather, Jedediah was a Revolutionary War veteran having served in the Continental army, Connecticut Line.

Between 1855-1860 Frances and her children relocated to NW Ohio, Henry County where her parents were residing. Do not know what became of her first husband, Joseph M. Button. In the 1860 US Census, Frances is listed as 'Parit' living with Peter in Liberty Twp., Henry, OH. There is now a village named Liberty Center which is the mailing address for Liberty Twp. ..."
