"David, ... I again run into a brick wall when trying to find information on Reinhard's first wife. She is listed as Foske Deuekas on any records I received from my family. However on the census, my Grandpa listed her name as FlosseyDansuch and his sister Tillie wrote it as Frances Dekeas. I have tried family surname searches but can not locate any of the spellings. Their first child, Joe was born in 1879.

The only information I have on her is that they were married in Ostfriesland, Germany and that my Grandpa was from Weener. The information I received from Koen says that my Great-grandpa was from Landwirt zu Hazeborg, wh zu Bunderhee(Haseborg, Weener, Ostfriesland, Germany). Do you know of any way I can locate any information on the marriage of Reinhard and Foske? ..."

Foske's father, Johann Michael Weitz Denekas was born 11 Aug 1802 in Holtgaste & christened on 15 Aug 1802 in Holtgaste according to the Holtgaste OSB, family 327. It is estimated by the same OSB that Taalke Peters was born circa 1823. They were married 9 May 1842 at Holtgaste. Taalke was 19 years old at the time of the wedding.
