Geraldine Huisman of Galt passed away from natural causes on April 10, 2003. She was 75. She was born Geraldine Raschein on March 1, 1928 in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Mayme (Williams) Raschein. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Edmond Huisman of Galt; her daughter, Sandra Ellis of South Lake Tahoe; her sons, David Huisman, James Huisman and John Huisman of Galt and Wayne Huisman of Wilton; her sisters, Audrey Gore of Cerritos, Cleone Thompson of Porterville, Muriel Thompson of Tracy, Nita Young of Carson City, Nevada, and Kathy Ziviello of Paradise; her brothers, Keith Raschein of Yuba City and Randall Raschein of Shedd, Oregon; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Raschein. Services were held April 15 at the Herald Community Center. Committal followed at the Hicksville Cemetery.
