HIAWATHA - Charlene R. Hegland, 57, of Hiawatha, Iowa, departed for her next journey on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn. Though her loved ones know her work here was not done, they have no doubt thisspirited woman will continue to make an impact from Heaven.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Paul; mother, Maxine Naber of Houston, Minn.; ... ... She was preceded in death by her father, Orville Naber; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Ardell Hegland; and her special niece, Trisha Gregory. ... Orville A. Naber

Orville A. Naber, 87, of Houston died Sunday, August 28, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford.

Orville was born on January 7, 1918, in Hamilton County, Iowa to Gerit and Kate (Vanlangen) Naber. He was raised in Iowa. He married Maxine Christopherson in 1938. They were later divorced. Orville moved to Houston in 1963, where hefarmed for several years. He also worked as an auctioneer.

He is survived by four sons: Marvin (Judy) Naber of Des Moines, IA, Ivan (Gail) Naber of Lanesboro, Ronnie (Marcia) Naber of Houston, and Harold (Mary) Naber of Houston; three daughters: Norma Gregory of San Diego, CA, Shirley Jackson ofPlano, TX and Charlene (Paul) Hegland of Cedar Rapids, IA; 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; his twin brother, Orman ìRedî (Marian) Naber of Las Vegas, NV; and his loving companion of 15 years,Audrie Jackson.

Orville was preceded in death by his parents, 11 brothers and sisters, one granddaughter and one son-in-law.
