Clifford Issacson officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Algona. Geilenfeld-Schaaf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. ..."

"Funeral services for Eva E. She was married to Emil Mittag on September 2, 1913 at the Good Hope Methodist Church, rural Lone Rock. The couple farmed northwest of Algona. Mr. Mittag died in 1935. In 1948 Eva moved from the farm to Algona. She enjoyed cooking and baking and also enjoyed her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil; one son, one daughter, and her parents.

Survivors include her children, Mrs. Wesley (Dores) Hauck of Duluth, Minnesota; Mrs. Joyce Gunn of Emmetsburg; Charles Mittag of Goodman, Missouri; Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Babbit of San Diego, California; Mrs. Peter (Patricia) Smidt of Lakota; Robert Mittag of San Diego, California; Dr. James Mittag of Orlando, Florida; Mrs. Will (Sharon) McGregor of San Diego, California; 45 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren."
