Heidemann, Bob, e-mail to David A. Navorsk in re Kuiper, (Salmon, ID, B.H., xvii Dec MMVIII)

"... Starting with my mothers record (Gladys Zacharias) going up one generation to her mother (Grietje Hartema) to her mother (Trientje Harms Kuiper) I found that her birth date isn't correct nor are the parents names. On that screen record (page with ID:116736) it shows Trientje's father and mother as Jan Harms Kuper and Hilke Adolphs Jans and her birthdate as 12 APR 1861. Acutally, her parents names were Harm Folkert Kuiper and Grietje Alberta Wilken and her birth datewas 12 APR 1863; as taken from my source.

My record source is a typed document called Ostfriesland Heritage compiled in the 1970's, 80's and 90's by desendants of the Hertema families, in Iowa and SD.
