"We are canvassing Mt. Hope Cemetery, Afton, OK in the process of publishing a cemetery book with genealogy connections. In doing this we have found William Martin Alvey buried in an unmarked grave beside his father who does have a stone. William's birth and death dates appear to be the same as you have. Found William as a single farmer in both the 1920 and 1930 censuses. However we found that he married Mrs. Lilly Dowler in 1935. The marriage was filed May 2, 1925. I see Amanda took the girls back to Muncie after Calvin died. Haven't found William in 1900 and 1910 but he stayed in Oklahoma didn't he? ..."
