I do not know if I sent a response to your e-mail yet, so am responding now. Yes, Miles Smith (my maternal grandfather) had an uncle, Clarence Cole. Clarence also married (2nd wife) Emma Ochs, who is the mother of Marie Fix (mygrandmother). That makes Clarence his uncle and his step-father in-law.
