I do not know if I sent a response to your e-mail yet, so am responding now. Yes, Miles Smith (my maternal grandfather) had an uncle, Clarence Cole. Clarence also married (2nd wife) Emma Ochs, who is the mother of Marie Fix (mygrandmother). That makes Clarence his uncle and his step-father in-law.

Ellsworth married Elsie Mae Cole, daughter of Miles and Cora Mae (Enyart), sister of Clarence. And that is how Clarence is his uncle.
