RALPH HARMS, son of John and Grace Meyer Harms, married LENA SUNKEN, daughter of Henry and Christina Bergman Sunken March 26, 1942. Both families were from rural Titonka.

Ralph worked for area farmers. Lena worked in the cafe for many years. They moved into town in 1949. Ralph died in January of 1991. Lena still lives in her home. They had two children. ... MAVIS was born in 1949. She married Rick Looft of Swea City in June of 1970. Rick was the manager of Custom Farm Service. He owned Rick's Feed Store. Since 1978 Rick has worked for the Titonka Telephone Company. Mavis has been abeautician since 1969, has owned and operated the Beauty Nook since 1976. They have two children: ... Tami, born, December of 1972; graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1995. She is in the marketing department of Hills Bank in Iowa City, Iowa. She married Tim Heidecker of Lakota in January of 1994. Tim is a computerprogrammer for N.C.S., Iowa City, Iowa.'
